Hospital hallway signFond du Lac Tribal and Community College is hosting the 2018 Careers in Nursing and Health Sciences Expo from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, in the Lester Jack Briggs Cultural Center Gymnasium on campus. The event is open to the public and admission is free.
The second annual Nursing and Health Sciences Expo is designed to provide information about current job openings with regional employers and the wide range of career opportunities available in health sciences fields. Employer representatives from a variety of nursing and health sciences fields including laboratory services, public health, mental health, human services, military, emergency medicine, assisted living, and more will be present to discuss current and future job openings and the type of training and background qualified applicants should possess.
For prospective college students and people who are considering a career change into the field of nursing or health science, the expo is an excellent opportunity to learn about career employment opportunities and where to receive the necessary training.
