Recording Studio Technical Information

ODAS Audio Studio

We Use ProTools 10 with an AVID C-24 Mixing Board for a direct hands-on control over almost every software function. Chandler TG-2 pre amps, Manley Voxbox vocal processor with Focal & Nuemann Speakers in the control booth.

Our isolation room, recently remodeled in 2015, is large enough for a Drum group or other small musical ensembles. We use mostly Blu microphones, including the coveted Blu bottle with interchangeable mic capsules for a variety of tone options, the Blu “Dragonfly” and “Mouse” are also in the ODAS arsenal.

The Studio is home to a Casio Privia electronic/MIDI piano and the FDLTCC music department has a baby grand in the music teaching studio.

ODAS Video Studio

We use Final Cut Pro to edit photo or video captured on any of the studio’s HD cameras. The Photoshop package is available on each of the resource center’s computers since we are a Mac supportive college. Also in-house is a WACOM Cintiq 22” Drawing Tablet for direct drawing and animation capture.

There are many options for cameras in ODAS studios: 2 Panasonic AC-160AP PRO HD cameras, 1 Panasonic AG-HPX250P PRO HD, 2 Go-Pros, Canon Mark III, Canon VIXIA for work study access.  Other students may use any of the 5 Sony DSC WX300 Cybershots or 8 Sony HDR CX240 Handycam Camcorders.
