Larry Anderson (Anishinaabe) is an enrolled member of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa in northeastern Minnesota.
President Anderson has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from the University of Wisconsin-Superior, and a Master of Science in Education(M.S.E.) degree from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. He completed both degrees with an emphasis in counseling.
President Anderson served as the vice president of administration and student services at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College since 1995 before his appointment as president in 2008. Prior to his employment at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College, Anderson was the Upward Bound/Student Support Services director at the College of St. Scholastica for three years. Anderson also held professional positions as Talent Search counselor for the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe, and the director of American Indian Programs for the Arrowhead Economic Opportunities Agency.
President Anderson was named Administrator of the Year in 1999 by the Minnesota Indian Education Association. He was elected to the Independent School District #2142 Board of Directors from 1984 to 1999, including four years as school board chair. He is the head football coach for the AlBrook Falcons football team.
