Loans are available to Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College students and/or parents of students. Loans must be repaid, with interest, typically starting after college graduation.
Students and parents who borrow, please be aware that the loan will be submitted to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS), and will be accessible by guaranty agencies, lenders, and schools determined to be authorized users of the data system. Borrowers can track their loans through the NSLDS website at https://nslds.ed.gov/npas/index.htm

Students must notify the Financial Aid Office if they are receiving any type of outside funding (funding not on the student’s award letter.) Loan and work-study eligibility may be reduced or eliminated due to receiving outside funding.
Deadline
All loan applications must be received by the Financial Aid Office a minimum of five business days before the end of the term for which a student is applying for the loan.

Direct Subsidized and Direct Unsubsidized Loans
There are three steps in applying for Direct Subsidized and Direct Unsubsidized Loans: 1. Entrance Loan Counseling, 2. Master Promissory Note, and 3. Loan Request Form.

Exit Loan Counseling Exit Loan Counseling must be completed after receiving the last disbursement of your Direct Loan.
Check Direct Loan status You can track the status of your Direct Loan application, change contact information, and make payments through this site.

PLUS Online Application There are two steps in applying for a PLUS Loan:

PLUS-Denial Consent to Obtain Credit Report Form Students who need more loan funds may get more Unsubsidized Direct Loan IF their parents have completed a Direct PLUS application AND been denied based on their credit check.
SELF Loan Application This is the online application for the SELF Loan (Student Education Loan Fund).
