During the week of January 29-February 2, 2018, the Thunder Deli on campus held the tenth fundraiser for the Bruce Carlson Food Pantry, which assists Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College students who are in need.
The Thunder Deli staff were happy to announce that thanks to employee and student generosity, B&B Market (which operates the Thunder Deli), will donate $255.00 to the Bruce Carlson Food Pantry. The Thunder Deli also collected some food donations.
The Thunder Deli also collected a few coupons, but can always use more. Remember that this is an ongoing project, so when you come across coupons from area restaurants that you don’t plan on using, don’t throw them away, bring them in and drop them in the box located just outside the Thunder Deli.
And please remember that if you are a student in need of food assistance, or if you would like more information about the Bruce Carlson Food Pantry, please contact Russell Swagger at 218-879-0805 or via e-mail at russell.swagger*AT*fdltcc.edu.
If you would like more information on the issue of hunger, please contact Northern Lakes Second Harvest Food Bank’s website at www.northernlakesfoodbank.org or the Feeding America website at http://www.feedingamerica.org.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this event and made it a success!

Testimonials

My favorite thing about FDLTCC is the people. I’ve met fantastic students, faculty and staff who go above and beyond what I expected.

It is awesome here at the FDLTCC Education Program because it is like a family here, if you need help or are struggling with anything, you have quite a few people who will help you out.

I chose FDLTCC because of its size and the curriculum. When I first came here in 2019, I was just looking for what I needed to volunteer, perhaps in a crisis shelter. I met with Don Jarvinen, and the rest is history.
