DESCRIPTION:Join us for an hour with artist Robert DesJarlait\, whose work blends tradition and contemporary art. He will discuss some of his recent work\, which will hang at FDLTCC through the end of October. DesJarlait is a celebrated visual artist\, writer\, historian\, and educator who has been showing his work in galleries for more than forty years. \nAs a member of the Red Lake Ojibwe Nation\, DesJarlait uses traditional iconography\, characters\, and stories to explore his Manidoo-wiwin Ojibwe (Ojibwe Spirit).
