Jessika is excited to be able to share her lifework of growing and protecting our seed relatives\, her desire to regenerate the soils of our Earth\, and she is grateful for the opportunity to train and inspire future seed keepers. Jessika has worked as the Agricultural Division Manager for her nation and had previously served as a garden mentor within her Nation’s organic community gardens. She is a U.S. Army combat veteran and completed a Veteran-to-Farmer training program at the Rodale Institute in Pennsylvania.

The property consists of berry patches\, an expanding orchard and 4 acres of tilled agricultural land where the Bimaaji’idiwin Producer Training Program\, Bimaaji’idiwin Garden Program\, FDLTCC Youth Program\, FDL Gitigaan Program and 1\,300 sq.ft. Growing Dome are located. \nThe Food Farm \nThe Food Farm is a certified organic farm located in Wrenshall\, Minnesota\, 30 minutes south of Duluth. The farm offers summer\, winter CSA\, preserving\, and egg shares\, enabling members to receive fresh local food most of the year.
