Here’s a quick update on our Summer 2019 Construction Project on campus:
If you’ve been around campus in the past few weeks, you have seen the construction project getting into full swing. The demo portion is mostly complete, and we will begin to see the transformation of the areas they are working on next week. The flooring project in the corridor from near the deli area to the Cultural Center will begin on Monday, July 1, 2019.
From early next week through the scheduled end date of July 26, there will be times the bookstore will be closed and not accessible. At this time, we cannot say exactly which days it will be closed; that will be up to the progress of the work. If you are on campus and the bookstore is not open please give Bonnie a call at 879-0828 or stop by her temporary location to see how she can help you. Bonnie will be located in Office 256 across from the existing student lounge area. If you are off-campus and want to be sure you don’t take an unnecessary trip, we encourage you to give Bonnie a call to discuss what you need before coming in.
We understand that this can cause an inconvenience, but we are confident that the improvements you will see at the end of the project will be worth the interruptions. We ask that you bear with us and remain flexible as the project goes on. If you have any questions, you can contact me or Bonnie. My contact info is below.

Testimonials

It is awesome here at the FDLTCC Education Program because it is like a family here, if you need help or are struggling with anything, you have quite a few people who will help you out.

My favorite thing about FDLTCC is the people. I’ve met fantastic students, faculty and staff who go above and beyond what I expected.

I chose FDLTCC because of its size and the curriculum. When I first came here in 2019, I was just looking for what I needed to volunteer, perhaps in a crisis shelter. I met with Don Jarvinen, and the rest is history.
