Welcome

Welcome to the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Foundation page.

A Message from the FDLTCC Foundation Chair:

“The work of the college foundation can hardly be described as work. We are a team of people who have a passion for education and supporting students, many of whom can only continue their college career with continued financial and personal support. In working together, many of us have formed a deeper sense of purpose in giving, while at the same time also have formed deeper friendships with each other as we work toward the common goal. Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Foundation meetings are held bi-monthly, on the second Wednesday of the month at noon. Members of the Foundation also serve on one of various sub-committees such as the student scholarship review committee, or the planning committees for the two major fundraising events – Croquet in Cloquet or Food for Thought. Foundation members include a great mix of corporate employees, retirees, and benefactors. We’re always open to new members who are committed to serving the community through education and have a great time doing it!”

Our Mission

The Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Foundation was created in 1995 by the college’s Board of Directors to raise funds from corporations, individuals, and other private resources to support the diverse needs of the college. The Foundation exists to benefit and provide assistance to the college through the cultivation of outside resources to support the college as it strives to meet the needs of all students. Through its activities, the Foundation hopes to increase access to educational opportunities, improve the quality of life of students, and create an environment that will assist in building a stronger and richer community for the future.

Testimonials

My favorite thing about FDLTCC is the people. I’ve met fantastic students, faculty and staff who go above and beyond what I expected.

It is awesome here at the FDLTCC Education Program because it is like a family here, if you need help or are struggling with anything, you have quite a few people who will help you out.

I chose FDLTCC because of its size and the curriculum. When I first came here in 2019, I was just looking for what I needed to volunteer, perhaps in a crisis shelter. I met with Don Jarvinen, and the rest is history.
