Minnesota Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Exam Preparation Course

An 8-hour course designed to prepare students to take the Minnesota Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Exam.

 

Course Overview

This comprehensive preparation course reviews key content areas that are essential for success on the POST exam, including:

  • The Criminal Justice System

  • Constitutional & Minnesota Criminal Law

  • Police History & Community Policing

  • Victims & Victims’ Rights

  • Juvenile Justice

  • Leadership, Management, & Communication

Students are provided with a comprehensive study guide to support their exam preparation.

While participation in this course does not guarantee passing the POST exam, it is an excellent opportunity to strengthen knowledge, review critical concepts, and increase confidence prior to testing.
