Business program students, as well as any interested student, have the opportunity to participate in American Indian Business Leaders (AIBL), a campus-wide student organization. AIBL is the only national American Indian non-profit organization dedicated solely to empowering American Indian business students in the United States. AIBL empowers students to engage in business activities that build leadership skills, generate community involvement, and promote economic self sufficiency from a culturally relevant perspective.

Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College students have established a reputation for success in national competitions. The club has been named national Chapter of the Year on multiple occasions, and student teams have won competitions covering business-related plans, projects, and tasks. A former graduate of the program was named national American Indian Business Leaders Student of the Year, and the club advisor has been named national American Indian Business Leaders Advisor of the Year.

Testimonials

I chose FDLTCC because of its size and the curriculum. When I first came here in 2019, I was just looking for what I needed to volunteer, perhaps in a crisis shelter. I met with Don Jarvinen, and the rest is history.

It is awesome here at the FDLTCC Education Program because it is like a family here, if you need help or are struggling with anything, you have quite a few people who will help you out.

My favorite thing about FDLTCC is the people. I’ve met fantastic students, faculty and staff who go above and beyond what I expected.
