Our Thunder Men’s Basketball team lost 75-64 at home on Wednesday evening, November 13, 2019, to Lake Superior College.
The Thunder led most of the first half but trailed 37-33 at halftime and the game continued to be tight until the visiting Ice Hawks broke open the game after a series of personal fouls and technical fouls on the Thunder with about nine minutes remaining in the game.
Leading the Thunder stats were Kenel Beaubrun with 16 points and 8 rebounds, Camden Berger with 12 points and 4 rebounds, and Antonio Morrell added 10 points with 4 assists and 2 steals.
After a season-opening 61-55 win over Crown College on Monday, the Thunder’s loss drops their record to 1-1 on the season.
The Thunder Women’s and Men’s Basketball teams host Riverland Community College in a doubleheader of games on Saturday, November 16, in the Briggs Center Gym. Tip-off times are set for 1:00 p.m. for the women’s game and 3:00 p.m. for the men’s game. Admission is free for all current students attending Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College.
