Lunchtime Poetry Reading with Jan Chronister and Peggy Trojan

Come and hear two award-winning poets!
Jan Chronister and Peggy Trojan have been close friends since meeting in a class Jan taught in over thirteen years ago. Together they have authored seventeen poetry books with more to come. Both were awarded an Outstanding Achievement Award for their poetry from the Wisconsin Library Association: Distanced: Poems from the Pandemic (Jan) and River (Peggy). These northern poets write down-to-earth verse about the woods they live in and the lives they have led. Memories are often relived through the eyes of experience, joy and loss. You will be entertained and inspired by these two women who have found writing poetry to be a creative outlet as well as a way to deal with life.
