MISSION

The mission of the Pride Club is to foster a safe and supportive environment for all students regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity. The club will seek to achieve this mission through education, awareness, and connecting with allies in the student body and faculty.

Typical activities and benefits of membership

  • bringing LGBT speakers and advocates to speak on campus
  • hosting films that raise an awareness of LGBT/Queer issues

Current projects

  • hold monthly Talking Circles that offer an open and safe environment for students
  • hosting a booth at Pride Fest in Duluth on Labor Day weekend
