Library Services Frequently Asked Questions during the COVID-19 Situation
What are the hours for the library?
Beginning April 6th, all library services will be provided virtually Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. If you need assistance outside these hours, simply make an appointment with the librarian. The physical library space will remain closed for the rest of the semester.
How do I contact the librarian?
What library resources are currently available?
The library has a large collection of eBooks, online scholarly journal databases, online news sources and streaming video collections available that cover a wide variety of disciplines and subject matter. All physical items and interlibrary loans are currently unavailable. See the Library Homepage for more info.
How do I search the library catalog?
The library’s online catalog, Primo OneSearch, allows you to search all the library’s eBooks and a majority of the journal titles and articles found in our scholarly databases.
How do I access the library’s database collections?
An A-Z Database List is available through the library homepage with a short summary of each database’s content. Contact the librarian for recommendations regarding your specific research needs.
How do I access library resources off campus?
All electronic resources can be accessed off campus. Navigate to your desired resource and when prompted, log in to the proxy page using your StarID and password.
How do I return physical items I’ve checked out?
All due dates for physical items have been extended until the library reopens. Please keep these items for the time being. Contact the librarian with questions.
Welcome to the Ruth A. Myers Library. The Library’s main entrance is located on the second floor of the main academic building on campus.
On days when classes are in session the Library opens weekdays at 8:00 a.m. On Monday through Thursday, the Library closes at 6:00 p.m., and on Friday closes at 4:00 p.m.
We are closed on weekends, holidays, and during academic breaks.
