Dear Friends of Dan,
The FDLTCC campus community, together with the family of Dan Jones, will be hosting Ezhi-minjimenimang Gaagigebines (“Remembering Dan Jones”) on Saturday, February 3, 2018 in the college commons. The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome.
While there will be some special items on the agenda, the bulk of Ezhi-minjimenimang Gaagigebines will be the many voices who want to share about Dan in a spirit of helping the family and all of us heal and find closure so we can move forward in a good and healthy way.
This is a potluck. Let’s all keep Dan in our thoughts as we prepare some favorite entrees and treats, and let’s plan to eat a lot with each other in honor of our good friend. Please let Roxanne DeLille know the food item(s) you intend to bring by Tuesday, January 30th, so we can further organize (roxanned*AT*fdltcc.edu).
Thanks to all for the patience and kindnesses extended as we’ve been “in progress.” We very much appreciate it. Please feel free to share this information with others who might want to attend.

Testimonials

My favorite thing about FDLTCC is the people. I’ve met fantastic students, faculty and staff who go above and beyond what I expected.

It is awesome here at the FDLTCC Education Program because it is like a family here, if you need help or are struggling with anything, you have quite a few people who will help you out.

I chose FDLTCC because of its size and the curriculum. When I first came here in 2019, I was just looking for what I needed to volunteer, perhaps in a crisis shelter. I met with Don Jarvinen, and the rest is history.
