Explore the Virtual Tour

“The new virtual tour offers opportunities for people to explore our college and to learn about the great programs that we offer,” shared FDLTCC Admissions Officer, Josh Cleveland, “It won’t ever replace an in-person visit, but it can help pique a student’s interest in what we offer and appreciate what our college is like.”

Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College is located in Cloquet, Minnesota, just off Interstate 35. The campus is situated in a beautiful setting, a 38-acre former tree farm of 60-foot tall majestic red pines.

The mission of Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College is to provide higher education opportunities for its communities in a welcoming, culturally diverse environment. The theme of diversity is represented in the many different construction materials visible throughout the academic building, and in the varying sizes and shapes of the building windows.

From above, the Thunderbird dominates the shape of the academic building. Extensive use of large windows provides earth and sky views of the outdoor environment and represent the importance of having a vision for the future. The four exterior metal walls of the building are representative of the four directions: north, south, east and west and the four colors of the Fond du Lac Reservation. The circular amphitheater is topped with a blue dome to represent the sky. Large floor-to-ceiling windows separate the two halves, indoors and outdoors, of the amphitheater circle. Floor tiles and carpeting in the amphitheater area are green and brown to represent the earth.

Testimonials

It is awesome here at the FDLTCC Education Program because it is like a family here, if you need help or are struggling with anything, you have quite a few people who will help you out.

I chose FDLTCC because of its size and the curriculum. When I first came here in 2019, I was just looking for what I needed to volunteer, perhaps in a crisis shelter. I met with Don Jarvinen, and the rest is history.

My favorite thing about FDLTCC is the people. I’ve met fantastic students, faculty and staff who go above and beyond what I expected.
