The event will feature demonstrations from talented artists from around the region on a wide variety of mediums including: Dana Trickey (Quill Working), April Stone (Black Ash Basketry), Thomas Howes (Wood Bending and Steam Box Work), Jessica Gokey (Working with Beads), Jeff Savage (Stone Work), Joyce LaPorte (No Face Dolls), Moira Villiard (Painting), Karen Savage-Blue (Painting), and more.

The Woodlands Art Expo will also feature workshops on business planning and marketing for artists featuring Jozef Mikitin, Heart Berry, and Moira Villiard.

The Woodlands Art Expo is free and open to the community; however, registration is preferred. For more information and registration, please visit https://fdltcc.edu/woodlands-art-expo/ or contact Roxanne DeLille, FDLTCC Dean of Indigenous and Academic Affairs, at roxanned*AT*fdltcc.edu.

Testimonials

It is awesome here at the FDLTCC Education Program because it is like a family here, if you need help or are struggling with anything, you have quite a few people who will help you out.

My favorite thing about FDLTCC is the people. I’ve met fantastic students, faculty and staff who go above and beyond what I expected.

I chose FDLTCC because of its size and the curriculum. When I first came here in 2019, I was just looking for what I needed to volunteer, perhaps in a crisis shelter. I met with Don Jarvinen, and the rest is history.
