It was another fabulous fundraiser on campus Thursday evening, January 19, 2017, with the fourth annual Food for Thought tasting event bringing nearly 250 people together to support our students and the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Foundation scholarship fund.
A great line-up of 17 local food and beverage vendors provided delectable tastes of specialty foods, much to the delight of all of the attendees. The silent auction attracted a wave of competitive bidding from attendees, and all of the 320 $10.00 raffle tickets were sold for the $1,000 travel voucher grand prize.
The final tally was not available, but the Foundation organizers had set a goal to raise $20,000 at the event. Last year’s event raised about $17,000 for the student scholarship fund.
Thanks to all of our sponsors, vendors, student and staff volunteers, and Foundation Board members who worked hard to present a successful event!

Testimonials

I chose FDLTCC because of its size and the curriculum. When I first came here in 2019, I was just looking for what I needed to volunteer, perhaps in a crisis shelter. I met with Don Jarvinen, and the rest is history.

It is awesome here at the FDLTCC Education Program because it is like a family here, if you need help or are struggling with anything, you have quite a few people who will help you out.

My favorite thing about FDLTCC is the people. I’ve met fantastic students, faculty and staff who go above and beyond what I expected.
