The 2018 Hot Summer Nights Concert Series concludes another great season this week on Thursday, August 9, with the closing night concert featuring Minneapolis-based vocalist Laura Lou. The concert starts at 7:00 p.m. in the college amphitheater, admission is free and open to everyone.
Laura Lou is the breath of fresh air you didn’t realize you needed to take. With songs that focus on authenticity, presence, and timelessness, Laura Lou draws you in with her full-body vocals, tender ballads, and fun-driving folk rock bangers. Yes, folk/rock bangers. It’s fun music, and she’s great…don’t judge without hearing her perform because her shows are a special experience you won’t want to miss. She’s recently released her first full-length album “ECHO” which can be listened to in all of the places music can be heard.
