FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION TIMELINE

  • Students apply for financial aid each year by completing a FAFSA at www.fafsa.gov
  • The FAFSA can be completed after October 1st, 9-10 months prior to the start of the next school year. Your eligibility is calculated using your and your parents FAFSA information.
  • The first distribution of financial aid occurs on the 9th day of each term. To receive aid in the first distribution, a student’s FAFSA and financial aid file must be finalized by the 5th day of the term. Subsequent financial aid disbursements occur each Thursday during the term.
  • Deadline: A student’s FAFSA and financial aid file must be completed two weeks before the end of the term

Testimonials

My favorite thing about FDLTCC is the people. I’ve met fantastic students, faculty and staff who go above and beyond what I expected.

It is awesome here at the FDLTCC Education Program because it is like a family here, if you need help or are struggling with anything, you have quite a few people who will help you out.

I chose FDLTCC because of its size and the curriculum. When I first came here in 2019, I was just looking for what I needed to volunteer, perhaps in a crisis shelter. I met with Don Jarvinen, and the rest is history.
