The Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Thunder Men’s Basketball Team mounted a furious rally coming down the stretch and into the final minute but visiting Rainy River outlasted the Thunder and held on to win 78-70 on Wednesday evening. (January 24, 2018)
Leading the Thunder statistics were Raymond White with 23 points and 8 rebounds, Saivon Parker added 19 points, and Artis Fountain had a steady double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. The Thunder held a 42-34 edge in rebounds, but only made 5 of 16 free throws (31%) and just 9 of 42 three-point shots (21.4%) in the game.
Next up for the Thunder is a road trip on Friday to play at Hibbing Community College.

My favorite thing about FDLTCC is the people. I’ve met fantastic students, faculty and staff who go above and beyond what I expected.

I chose FDLTCC because of its size and the curriculum. When I first came here in 2019, I was just looking for what I needed to volunteer, perhaps in a crisis shelter. I met with Don Jarvinen, and the rest is history.

It is awesome here at the FDLTCC Education Program because it is like a family here, if you need help or are struggling with anything, you have quite a few people who will help you out.
