Register for the Ojibwe Language Symposium

 

This year’s Ojibwe Language Symposium will offer three strands of language learning:

1.) a nurturing level for beginners
2.) an intermediate level for practitioners, and
3.) an immersion level for fluent speakers

Aambe Anishinaabemodaa!

 

The Ojibwe Language Symposium is a family oriented, collaborative, community event where language holders and learners can come together. The key outcomes of the symposium are:

Celebrate & Honor language holders & learners

    • Support/nurture language learners and engage community
    • Connect language learners with language speakers

Make language learning accessible to everyone

      • Share language – everyone leaves with something
      • Everyone should feel welcome, sense of belonging
      • Create opportunities to share at every level

Inspire and encourage others to care for and protect our language

    • Engage the spirit, and create a sense of ownership
